Uniondale Auditorium

This auditorium redesign kept some of the original aesthetic elements but added details, such as the Art deco inspired ceiling dome which incorporated acoustical properties that improved the clarity and the overall sound of the performances. Honduras Mahogany angled paneling along the rear and the side walls complement the Deco style and bring warmth to the entire space. High-quality technology was added in perfect concert with the bold new colors to make this a unique performance center.

Uniondale Auditorium

Hauppauge Auditorium

The reconstruction of this auditorium added new design elements to improve the clarity and the overall sound of the space. The design process included a contemporary digital sound system, ceiling plenum catwalk, stage diffusers, and stage band shell acoustics. LED light fixtures allow the house to be lit with half the amount of traditional house lights consuming 50% less energy. Audio and video systems combined with the new acoustical elements make this space one of the best venues on the island.

Mattituck Auditorium

The auditorium in the existing high school doubled as a gymnasium and it had no acoustical properties to enhance the school annual performances. To remedy this issue a dedicated gymnasium addition was constructed allowing the auditorium to be redesigned with modern acoustical equipment. New skylights, wall trim and a coffered ceiling were designed in collaboration with the acoustical engineer to ensure superior audio properties for future shows.

Three Village Auditorium

In order to enhance the Ward Melville High School Auditorium all the existing finishes and equipment were removed. New curved plaster clouds and discs were strategically placed along the entire ceiling to ensure that even the last row of seating feels like they are a part of the act. Rich wood wall diffusers assist to diminish reverberation and provide a crisp sound throughout the entire space.

Involved with all of our auditorium designs, is an understanding of the important connection between the audience and the performance. A strict attention to detail is paid to achieve a proper balance between the architecture, acoustics, sightliness, audience comfort and theatrical performance. We collaborate with our in house acoustical engineer throughout the entire design process to achieve the highest level of technology integration and audio design ensuring that all of our clients get a final product that is specifically designed for the performer’s needs and the auditorium’s requirements.
